GIFTS TO ATLANTICARE continued

The AtlantiCare Foundation announced in March 2018 the receipt of a $100,000 grant from The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey in order to improve the health of our pediatric asthma patients through a program called Breathe Easy AC. Breathe Easy AC is a pediatric asthma initiative at the William L. Gormley AtlantiCare HealthPlex, a Federally Quali ed Health Center in Atlantic City (AC), to improve the health of our pediatric asthmatic patients. The Foundation celebrated the newest Dougherty Family establishment, the recently renovated Linwood Country Club, on June 19, 2018 with an event to honor our generational friends, the Doughertys, who have supported our growth and shared our love for this community over the years. The $35,000 raised through the event benefited the Joseph and Arleen Doughtery ICU at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division.
