2022 Annual Impact Report

Milestones present us opportunities to reflect, and I have been doing just that as I mark 40 years with AtlantiCare. These four decades have brought tremendous growth to the organization and to me personally. I am grateful for the many opportunities that have brought me from staff nurse to CEO, and for the support I have received along the way. I am grateful, too, for the support AtlantiCare has experienced from our community, which has allowed us to invest in new programs and clinical excellence to improve health and a strong care continuum for our community. This year saw many accomplishments. The highlights are included here. As I think of the future of healthcare, and reflect on my own experiences, I am struck by the many directions that a career in healthcare can take, and the vital need particularly for nurses in so many different healthcare settings. Caring is truly at the heart of what we do – from taking care of individual patients to living our commitment to the health of the community. As AtlantiCare embarks upon its next chapter and I on mine, I want to take a moment to share my gratitude and many thanks – it has been a pleasure to care for you. Keep making a difference,

Lori Herndon, RN, BSN, MBA President & CEO, AtlantiCare
