New for 2026 Increased Supplemental Term Life Coverage AtlantiCare has worked with Metlife to improve the supplemental life insurance oferings. You can now elect 1 to 8 times your basic annual earnings, up to a maximum of $1,500,000. Coverage for supplemental life will reduce at or after age 70 to 50% *For this open enrollment period only, non-participants can enroll in 1x basic annual earnings in coverage, not to exceed $350,000, without any health questions required. Current participants can increase your current coverage by one level, not to exceed $350,000, with no health questions required.* Spousal/Domestic Partner Supplemental Term Life Coverage As long as you enroll yourself or are already participating in supplemental term life coverage, you can now elect to add supplemental coverage for your Spouse/Domestic Partner. Spousal coverage can be elected in $10,000 increments up to $100,000. *For this open enrollment period only, you can elect up to $20,000 of coverage without any health questions asked.* Dependent Child(ren) Supplemental Term Life Coverage As long as you enroll yourself or are already participating in supplemental term life coverage, you can now elect to add supplemental coverage for your dependent child(ren). Coverage amounts available for this option are either $5,000 or $10,000 per child. No health questions asked for this coverage. Child(ren)’s eligibility is from birth to age 26 years old and terminates at the end of the year in which a dependent child turns 26.
Enrolling in Supplemental Term Life plan coverage includes access to MetLife Advantages—a comprehensive suite of valuable services for support, planning and protection when you need it most at no additional cost to you. Services include: • Will Preparation Services Ofers you and your spouse/domestic partner unlimited face-to- face or telephone meetings with an attorney — fromMetLife Legal Plans’ network of over 18,500 participating attorneys — to prepare or update a will, living will and Power of Attorney. • Estate Resolution Services Estate representatives and beneficiaries may receive unlimited face-to-face legal assistance with probating your and your spouse’s/ domestic partner’s estates. Beneficiaries can also consult an attorney — fromMetLife Legal Plans’ network of more than 18,500 participating attorneys — for general questions about the probate process.
