Annual Giving Report 2017

Dear Friends, This past year has been a great year for the AtlantiCare Foundation. Together, we’ve certainly accomplished a lot – from supporting hospice patients in need, to funding nursing scholarships, to providing financial support to our cancer patients, giving them respite from the financial worries that often accompany cancer. We’ve continued to build healthy communities together. The current year is especially dear for the AtlantiCare Foundation as it marks our 40th Anniversary. Yes, since 1977, you’ve been assisting us in making moments matter for our collective community. Over the past 40 years, we’ve built buildings and expanded much-needed services like our Cancer Care and our Heart Institutes. We’ve also established some pretty impressive community programs that I do not doubt have changed the trajectory of our community’s health by providing access to healthy food or teaching people from an early age how to enjoy a lifetime of fitness. You have been the power behind this great work, encouraging us to continue on for the betterment of our community, and for this we are most grateful. As you read the stories and names listed in this report, please know that each and every dollar provided to our organization makes a difference in the lives of those we serve. Please also know that the names on this report fill our hearts with tremendous pride and gratitude. Having your support renews our spirits and allows us to go that extra step in providing health and healing to all in our community. Here’s to what we’ve accomplished together since our inception, and here’s to what the future promises to provide with your continued friendship and support. From what we can see, 40 doesn’t look so bad, and because of you, our future looks even brighter.
