Budgeting Finance provides monthly reports to department leaders to help them manage their budgets throughout the year. Leaders also work with Finance to set their budget for the upcoming year. Leader Expectation(s): Leaders are asked to be mindful of Keeping AtlantiCare Strong. Leaders should set their annual budget and adhere to the approved budget throughout the year. Keep AtlantiCare Strong Keep AtlantiCare Strong is an AtlantiCare-first approach and set of tools that help us keep this front of mind. It is directly related to our financial health by either decreasing costs, increasing revenue, or increasing growth. Some examples are the annual budget cycle, LEAN methodology, the Employee Giving Campaign, advocating for AtlantiCare, using and referring family/friends to our services, notifying the appropriate person when there are gaps, etc. Leader Expectation(s): Leaders should be aware of this, make decisions with this in mind, and reinforce this concept with their teams. Concur AP System can get to Concur by going onto The Starfish page > Apps and Resources. You can request training in this program by reaching out to Accounts Payable in Finance. They can provide you written instructions on the system and answer any questions you have. Leader Expectation(s): Leaders are expected to know how to access and use the system, as well as what is eligible for reimbursement. Financial Signing Authority We keep AtlantiCare strong by enforcing controls within Finance. One of these controls is Financial Signing Authority, which denotes that no employee, regardless of level of signature authority, will approve his/her own reimbursement and also the max amount that anyone can sign off on. For more information refer to Policy #2869. team holds these training sessions monthly and you can sign up for one via Healthstream. To access Kronos go to The Starfish under “Apps and Resources.” Any issues or questions regarding Kronos can be directed to a member of the payroll team. Leader Expectation(s): Leaders are expected to get trained on how to use Kronos and enter employee attendance timely and accurately. Clairvia Scheduling Clairvia is the staff scheduling and reporting application used for most nursing and some non- nursing units. It can be used to schedule staff and process schedule requests that your staff submits to the application. You can access this system by going to The Starfish > Apps and Resources > Clairvia. On this page there is a link to access the system and various tutorials to show you how to use it. Any questions or issues regarding this application can be directed to the AIT Help Desk Concur is the system you use to get reimbursed for travel and expenses that are related to your position. This system is also used to approve your staff’s reimbursement requests. You Leader Expectation(s): Leaders should know what their signing limit is and follow the policy. Kronos Timekeeping Kronos is the system AtlantiCare uses for timekeeping and impacts how we get paid. All new managers must complete training and pass an assessment prior to gaining access.
