Once the payout amount is established, staff qualify to be paid out by being compliant with all EWRs by 10/31 and by working enough hours. If qualified, then staff land in one of three payout tiers – 50%, 75%, 100% – based on their hours worked in contribution to organizational goal achievement. Visit the Share the Success page on Starfish for program details. Typically, there is a small summer (June/July) payout of $0-$200. Then there is a larger winter (December) bonus payout of $0-$800. All payouts are contingent upon meeting the financial goal and having Board approval. There is an appeal process that leaders can use for staff that did not receive a bonus if they believe there were extenuating circumstances preventing them from being compliant with their EWRs or working enough hours to qualify. Appeals are reviewed by HR and at times elevated to a panel of senior leaders for a final decision. Leader Expectation(s): Leaders should understand how Share the Success works, keep staff up to date on progress toward organizational goals, help staff understand how they can directly impact the outcome of those goals, and hold staff accountable to EWR compliance throughout the year.
