Based at the AtlantiCare HealthPlex in Atlantic City. PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support Advanced pediatric life support certification required for designated roles as part of Essential Work Requirements (EWRs). ★ PIP – Psychiatric Intervention Program Inpatient behavioral health unit that manages acute psychiatric situations, often involving patients admitted through or connected to the Emergency Department. Commonly referenced during safety events, escalations, and Workforce Relations reviews. Performance Ratings Refers to the most recent annual performance review rating, frequently referenced when evaluating overall performance trends, context for corrective action, and prior coaching history. ★ Exceeds Expectations (EE) – 4-star rating Performance consistently exceeds role expectations. ★ Meets Expectations (ME) – 3-star rating Performance consistently meets role expectations. ★ Needs Improvement (NI) – 1–2 star rating Performance does not consistently meet expectations. • • Note: Prior to 2023, this scale was referred to as RT (Remarkable Talent), VC (Valued Contributor), and OI (Opportunity for Improvement). ★ ATIT – AtlantiCare Information Technology The AtlantiCare department responsible for information technology systems, services, support, and infrastructure . LOA – Leave of Absence An approved period of time away from work for qualifying personal, medical, family, or other circumstances.
