★ RM – Recruiting Management AtlantiCare’s recruiting system used to manage applications, background checks, offers, and onboarding documentation. Frequently referenced when reviewing hiring history or pre-employment requirements.

★ SED – Satellite Emergency Department Located in Hammonton; extension of Mainland Campus Emergency Department.

★ A bonus program for eligible non-leader team members. Historically paid in the summer (typically $200) if financial targets are met, and again in the winter contingent upon organizational performance, Board approval, and individual eligibility requirements (hours worked, completion of annual education, and compliance with EWR). ★ TM – Team Member(s) The preferred term used at AtlantiCare in place of “employee / EE” or “staff.” ★ ERG – Employee Resource Group Employee-led groups that support connection, inclusion, professional development, and community among team members with shared interests, experiences, or backgrounds. PTO – Paid Time Off Paid leave that team members may use for vacation, personal time, illness, or other approved absences. Req – Requisition A formal request to create or fill a position. JCAHO – The Joint Commission An organization that accredits and certifies healthcare organizations and programs based on established quality and safety standards. ★ TA – Talent Acquisition The function responsible for recruiting, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring team members. ★ Comp – Compensation The pay and rewards provided to team members in exchange for their work, including salary, wages, and applicable incentives. ★ Annual Ed – Required Annual Education Education and training that team members are required to complete annually based on their role, responsibilities, and organizational requirements. ★ Occ Med – Occupational Medicine Healthcare services focused on the health, safety, and well-being of individuals in the workplace, including employee health evaluations and work-related care. HIPAA – Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Federal law that establishes standards for protecting individuals’ health information and regulating the use and disclosure of protected health information. ★ SOP – Standards of Position (ABH Competencies Form) ABH-specific competency tool used to document role readiness and ongoing competency. Functions similarly to the A&E Tool but is specific to behavioral health roles. STS– Sharethe Success
