Flexible Spending Account The AtlantiCare Flexible Spending Account is administered through Baker Tilly. An FSA account provides a tax advantage to the participant by allowing you to pay for qualified medical expenses with non-taxable dollars. These accounts do have some rules and limitations associated with them and are heavily regulated by the IRS due to their non-taxable status. A debit card is provided for you to utilize and is convenient in its ability to be used at the time of service. However, utilizing this card does not necessarily alleviate the need to substantiate claims. Register and manage your account on Baker Tilly’s member portal, www.MyFlexDollars.com . What you should know about the FSA program: • You may need to substantiate your claims when you use your FSA card to purchase services. Be sure to keep your receipts. • The money in this account is tax-free and must be used before the first of the following year. Budget wisely. • You can submit a reimbursement request online through www.MyFlexDollars.com . • The most important thing to remember is that you must use this money by December 31, or you will lose it. Claims can be submitted by March 31 of the following year. However, you must show proof that the eligible expenses were incurred in the previous benefits year (by December 31).
Rollover - you can rollover a maximum of $660 in unused funds in a Health-Related FSA from the 2025 plan year into the 2026 plan year. The IRS has raised the rollover limit to $680 for the 2026 plan year. Dependent Care FSA: A Dependent Care FSA lets you save on dependent care expenses using pretax dollars. Eligible dependent care expenses can include services such as preschool, summer day camp, before or after school programs, and child and adult daycare. *Dependent Care dollars cannot be used to pay for a dependent’s medical expenses. Additional resources can be found on the HR Portal: Benefits tab or visit www.MyFlexDollars.com . 3 ConvenientWays to Submit Claims: • FSA Benefits Card: Using your FSA benefits card is the quickest and easiest way to get reimbursed. • Online Portal: www.MyFlexDollars.com – You can submit your claims conveniently online through www.MyFlexDollars.com . • MyFlexDollars Mobile App: Allows you to submit a claim on the go using your mobile device. Download the free mobile app by searching MyFlexDollars in your app store. Note: You can use your funds in the Online FSA Store! Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) An AtlantiCare-funded Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) will help to ofset a portion of your AtlantiCare medical plan deductible, if you completed wellness credits and tasks during the first 11 months of the 2025 plan year (1/1/2025 – 11/30/2025). - Up to an additional $250 if you have a spouse covered on the plan. - Up to $500 for employees enrolling in employee/spouse coverage. You can submit a reimbursement request online through www.MyFlexDollars.com .
