AtlantiCare 2025 Annual Report
Leading the Way in National Healthcare Innovation In July, AtlantiCare was one of only ten healthcare systems across the country invited to the White House Healthcare Data Interoperability Summit in Washington, D.C. This exclusive invitation underscores our leadership in health IT and our commitment to building a smarter, more connected healthcare system for our patients and community. Chief Information Officer Jordan Ruch represented AtlantiCare at the summit, contributing to discussions on how innovative data strategies can improve patient care, streamline provider workflows and advance national healthcare interoperability. The summit, led by CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Acting DOGE Administrator Amy Gleason, brought together top healthcare and technology leaders, including executives from Google, Apple, Oracle and Cleveland Clinic. AtlantiCare’s participation highlights our commitment to advancing patient care locally while helping to shape national healthcare standards.
Putting AI to Work for Patients: The Clinical AI Agent One of this year’s most meaningful advancements is the Clinical AI Agent, a tool designed to bring more human connection back into the exam room. The Clinical AI Agent listens during patient visits and creates medical notes automatically, allowing providers to focus on listening and asking questions, rather than typing information into a computer. Since its introduction, providers using the Clinical AI Agent have saved an average of 66 minutes per day. That time is reinvested in patient care instead of paperwork and administrative processes. Nurses are also benefiting from new mobility tools that make documenting care and recording vital signs faster and easier. These updates save time and improve accuracy which translates directly into more one-on-one interactions, allowing nurses more bandwidth to provide compassionate, hands-on care and support patients and families throughout their health journey. For our community, these upgrades mean a more seamless experience. Test results, referrals and follow-up care move more quickly and are easier to manage. Most importantly, every patient receives care shaped by more personal attention, more clarity and more connection.
AtlantiCare Powered by Oracle Transforming How Our Community Experiences Care In late 2024, AtlantiCare launched Powered by Oracle—a multi-year transformation designed to modernize how we deliver care across our health system. The goal is to make healthcare easier for patients while giving caregivers tools that help them do what they do best. This initiative isn’t about technology alone, but also about people—giving physicians and nurses more time with their patients, helping teams work more efficiently and creating a seamless experience for every person who walks through our doors. In 2025, our teams made significant progress towards our goal. Three of six major milestones are now complete, each moving us closer to a health system where technology enhances, not replaces, the personal interactions that define great care. This year’s work focused on improving the experience in the exam room and at the bedside while strengthening the operational backbone that keeps care running smoothly. Every step forward reflects our commitment to placing patients at the center of every decision. Our strengthened systems have enhanced the tools our providers and administrators rely on daily, so information flows more easily and time-consuming tasks become simpler. We also improved access to medical records by removing barriers when receiving care from different health systems, giving clinicians a fuller, more accurate picture of each patient’s medical history. As our progress continues, we are excited to deliver our patients a next-generation patient portal that supports all their needs right at their fingertips, including appointments, pre-test requirements, referrals, care plan management, medication adherence, wellness coaching for those with chronic illness, and 24/7 support provided by live and AI support agents.
