AtlantiCare 2025 Annual Report

Dear Friends,

2025 Board of Trustees

At AtlantiCare, our purpose has always been rooted in place. For more than a century, this organization has existed not merely to deliver care, but to serve, strengthen and uplift the communities that define our region. Today, as healthcare stands at an inflection point nationally, AtlantiCare is clear about who we are, why we exist and the responsibility we carry as southeastern New Jersey’s preeminent anchor institution. This annual report reflects more than performance. It tells the story of impact, of lives touched, communities strengthened and a future being deliberately built. Across our region, AtlantiCare caregivers show up every day with uncommon commitment and compassion. They provide world-class care in moments of vulnerability, urgency and hope. They innovate under pressure. They lead through change. Whether at the bedside, in the community or behind the scenes, our team members are the heart of this organization and the reason AtlantiCare continues to earn the trust of those we serve. That trust matters. Because healthcare today is no longer confined to hospital walls. Through Vision 2030, AtlantiCare has embraced a broader calling: to advance health, vitality and opportunity across the full spectrum of life. This means expanding access, improving outcomes, addressing the drivers of health beyond clinical care and building sustainable systems that endure for generations. It means aligning care delivery with affordability, equity and experience. And it means investing in capabilities, not just facilities that position our region to thrive in a rapidly changing world. As an anchor institution, AtlantiCare plays a unique and essential role in regional prosperity. We are one of the largest employers, educators, purchasers and investors in southeastern New Jersey. With that scale comes responsibility. We are committed to leveraging our assets, clinical, economic and social, to strengthen neighborhoods, grow the workforce, support local partners and create pathways to opportunity. Health, hope and vitality are inseparable from economic stability, education, housing and community resilience. Our strategy reflects that truth. This past year, we made meaningful progress: advancing integrated care models, expanding ambulatory and community-based access, strengthening partnerships and investing in our team members. We did so while maintaining financial discipline and operational excellence, recognizing that sustainability is not a constraint on mission, but a prerequisite for it. Most importantly, we remained focused on what matters most: the people who entrust us with their care and the communities that depend on us. The future of healthcare will reward organizations that are bold, disciplined and deeply connected to the communities they serve. AtlantiCare is prepared for that future. We are building a system designed not only to respond to illness, but to foster lifelong health. Not only to deliver care, but to create vitality. Not only to succeed as an organization, but to help our region flourish. I am profoundly grateful to our caregivers, physicians, team members, partners, trustees and community leaders for their dedication and belief in this mission. Together, we are shaping a new chapter, one defined by excellence, purpose and shared prosperity. Thank you for your trust in AtlantiCare. With resolve and optimism,
